Jump Ship!

Sometimes it is good to jump ship!

“How old are you now? And you still choose to do things you don’t really want to do? And still force yourself to be with people you really don’t want to be with?” That was one of the conversations I had on my recent trip to Europe.

Life is too short to not do what we want to do, or be with the people we want to be with. Which made me look at my life and was there anything I did, that I didn’t really want to do, or anyone I was with that I didn’t really want to be with?

I choose where I am, who I am with and what I am doing. If an emotion or feeling comes up which doesn’t feel good, for example, feeling stifled or claustrophobic, then it is really up to me to remove myself from that situation or those people, or maybe even just shift my perspective of the situation to one of gratitude, growth and learning….

Sometimes it is simply seeing a certain situation from a different perspective… shifting frustration to joy. Seeing things with different glasses on… blurry to clear, harsh to soft, 2D to 3D… 3D to 5th Dimension…

For me it is about choosing my reality.

If something just doesn’t feel right, shift the energy, do whatever it takes to put yourself in a different vibe, location, feeling…

Self worth is also relevant to this topic. What are you worth? Do you feel like you are treating yourself and being treated for what you are worth? Do you expect more? Do you want more? Do you respect yourself and your worth?

Ask for what you want. Do what you truly want to. Life is too precious not to. Be with the people you truly want to be with. Honor yourself.

Recently I found myself on a small, confined boat in the middle of a big ocean… I started to feel claustrophobic, limited, frustrated, disgusted once I realized the raw sewerage from the toilets was being immediately expelled into the water below where we swam…

What to do? Stay in the situation I had committed to for the whole week? Or leave that situation. Create a different reality. Get out of the shitty situation and find a clean, yummy, spacious, cool experience?

Duh! Not a difficult choice to make… Jump ship and create my own amazing reality in the Greek Isles.

Done!

Stuck on a boat? Jump ship! Feeling claustrophic? Expand your perception. Go within. Find that space within to help you escape beyond.
